Your World Away was created around a simple idea: exceptional travel isn’t about choosing the most expensive option. It’s about choosing the right experience for the person taking the journey. I bring the same approach to every trip I plan—understanding how you like to travel, what matters to you, and where the details can make the greatest difference. From the first conversation through the journey home, the goal is simple: make the experience feel unmistakably yours.

A MORE PERSONAL APPROACH

I don’t believe extraordinary travel begins with a booking engine.

It begins with understanding you.

Where you want to go matters. But so does how you like to travel, what you want to feel when you arrive, what you don’t want to deal with, and the details that can turn a good trip into one you’ll remember for years.

That’s the thinking behind Your World Away.

My role isn’t simply to find something available. It’s to understand the experience you’re looking for, navigate the choices surrounding it, and help you make the right ones.

WHY YOUR WORLD AWAY

Because I was a traveler before I was an advisor.

My perspective on travel was shaped from the other side of the reservation.

I know the difference between what looks impressive on a booking screen and what actually feels exceptional once you’re there.

That experience influences the way I approach every trip I help plan. I pay attention to the things that can easily disappear behind a price and a room category: location, atmosphere, service, privacy, convenience and how all of those pieces work together.

Travel is personal.

The advice surrounding it should be too.

Claudia Malo

Some people visit the world. Claudia has spent decades getting to know it.

With decades of international travel behind her, Claudia brings a perspective shaped by an extraordinary curiosity about the places she visits - and the people, history and culture that give them meaning.

Museums, historic sites and cultural institutions are rarely an afterthought in her travels. They are often the beginning. As an Associate Director for multiple historical societies in Florida, Claudia has a deep appreciation for preservation and cultural learning, and has made a habit of connecting with historical societies and local institutions throughout the destinations she explores.

Having traveled extensively around the world, she brings something increasingly difficult to manufacture: experience, perspective and wonderfully unfiltered honesty. Claudia approaches travel with an old-world sensibility - thoughtful, curious, discerning and refreshingly direct.

She isn’t interested in recommending somewhere simply because it’s fashionable. She wants to understand why a place matters, what makes it distinctive, and whether it is actually right for the person going there.

Audra

Travel Advisor

She reads the room. Then she reads the itinerary.

Audra is a Jersey girl through and through. Born and raised along the Jersey Shore, she grew up understanding that a great escape isn’t simply about where you go—it’s about how you feel once you get there. That perspective shapes the way she approaches travel: thoughtfully, personally, and with an appreciation for the details that turn time away into something genuinely memorable.

With Italian roots on her mother’s side and Irish-German heritage on her father’s, Audra brings warmth, confidence, quick wit, and a wonderfully dry sense of humor to everything she does. She’s naturally curious, remarkably adaptable, and particularly good at understanding what someone wants—even when they haven’t quite figured out how to describe it themselves.

Her travels have taken her throughout the Caribbean and beyond, from the colorful streets of Old San Juan and the beaches of the Dominican Republic to Roatán, Grand Cayman and Jamaica. She’s spent time exploring Mexico’s Caribbean coast through Cozumel and Costa Maya, escaped to Nassau and the quieter shores of the Bahamas, and discovered the private-island atmosphere of Ocean Cay. Add Costa Rica and travels throughout the United States, and Audra has developed a particular appreciation for warm-weather destinations where great hospitality, beautiful surroundings and a slower pace come together.

Cruising has become one of her favorite ways to experience them. She appreciates the contrast of waking up somewhere new while still having the familiarity of a beautifully run ship to come back to—and she understands that choosing the right ship, itinerary and experience can matter every bit as much as choosing the destinations themselves.

But Audra’s greatest strength isn’t a list of destinations. It’s understanding people. She calls herself a chameleon with her clients—someone who can read personalities, adapt to different travel styles, and quickly recognize whether a traveler wants adventure, complete relaxation, a little indulgence, or simply somewhere that feels wonderfully different from home.

Personable, candid, and attentive, Audra believes exceptional travel planning starts with listening. She gets to know the person behind the reservation first, then helps shape the experience around them. Because choosing the right destination matters—but understanding why you’re getting away in the first place matters even more.
